Preparing Your Home For Photography

Photo's will be key in helping to sell your home. Following some very simple guidelines will be beneficial in filming your home.
SCHEDULING:
- Please make sure that your agent has current alarm and gate codes.
- Pets - Please arrange to put your pets in a safe and secure place.
PREPARING THE OUTSIDE OF YOUR HOME:
- Remove cars from driveway and surrounding street.
- Remove or roll up garden hoses in fromt and backyards.
- Request neighbors to please remove cars, trash containers, etc.(We want their home to look good too!)
- Pick up children's toys, pet bowls, and yard equipment. Have your outside yard areas neatly manicured and clutter free.
- Have all pool, spas or Jacuzzi's clean and display patio furniture in an inviting manner.
INSIDE YOUR HOME:
- Remove Clutter in areas that we will be filming. Magazines, newspapers, toys bowls, etc.......Add decorator touches such as fresh flowers and plants. But remember, sometimes less in more.
- Kitchens, Baths & Master Bedrooms. Please remove magnets and pictures from refrigerator. Clear countertops as much as possible. Have towels neatly arranged or removed in all areas. Have beds neatly made and master bedroom free of clutter.
- Fireplace/Hearth. Free of clutter and have well lit if possible - it is usually a focal point of the room.
- Open draperies and turn off all ceiling fans and turn on as many lights as possible in the shooting area.
- Typical inside scenes include Living Room or Family Room, Kitchen, Dining Room, Master Bedroom and Master Bath.
