Community Involvement

A heart to serve through leadership is evidenced in her community involvement.Karen currently serves as Director for the Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce and Chairs the Tourism Counsel; Board Director for the Rainbow Senior Center and Board Director/Building Committee for the New Kronkoskey Place, which began construction in January.

An active member of the Rotary Club of Boerne, serving two years as Sergeant at Arms and two years as Club Secretary.  Recogized for Outstanding and Dedicated Service, A Paul Harris Fellow.

A founding Director on the YMCA Board, establishing the first YMCA facility in Boerne.
